MEET OUR TEAM
Dr. Louise Marron, a Colorado native, is a dual board-certified veterinary dentist. With an aptitude for science and a passion for connecting with animals, Dr. Marron recognized Veterinary Medicine was her calling as a young girl. She began working in her hometown veterinary clinic at age 13 and has never strayed off the veterinary path. She attended undergraduate college and veterinary school at Colorado State University. Upon earning a degree as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2006, she joined the team at Alpine Animal Hospital as a mixed-animal general practitioner. Upon completion of a residency and rigorous examination process, she achieved diplomate status with the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC), certified as a dental specialist for all species in 2017. Following additional education and completion of yet another series of examinations, she earned diplomate status within the Equine-specific arm of the AVDC in 2022. Driven to focus entirely on her specialty, Dr. Marron continues to enjoy the challenges and rewards of her life’s work; now as a dentist and oral surgeon for animals.
Dr. Marron deeply values her family, friends, and the Carbondale community. Her four-legged family members include Laroche, a standard poodle, Marvin, a gentle gelding, Mona, the giant tortoise, and ‘The Georges’ kitty duo. In her free time, Louise loves outdoor activities and travel.

Equine Veterinary Technician Assistant
Lexy, a Colorado native, was born and raised in the Vail / Roaring Fork valley where she attended CRMS and was an avid 4H & FFA member for over a decade. The lessons and experiences in these programs transferred into her adult life as she continued to seek growth in the veterinary medicine field. Lexy has been with the CDOS team since March of 2024 and also maintains employment at a local hospital as an administrator in human healthcare. The versatility allows Lexy to continue to grow and aspire to be a lifelong learner. Though she enjoys both fields of medicine, her heart truly lies with the horses allowing her to find deep joy and fulfillment in the work we do for our equine patients. Her passion for animals is both professional and personal as Lexy finds companionship with her 1 cat, 2 horses, and 3 dogs (All English Springer Spaniels). When not at work, she can be found outdoors exploring with her husband Paden and her pets.
